Hong Kong apprentice jockey Kei Chiong was named Best Lady Apprentice Jockey at the 2017 HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Darley Awards, based on performances from the 2016 racing season.

The award was conferred in a ceremony on Friday evening (31 March) at the famed Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

This is the third year in which the Darley Awards have been distributed to female participants across Thoroughbred and purebred Arabian racing around the world.
