Golden Sixty’s rehearsal for next month’s G1 LONGINES Hong Kong Mile (1600m) went according to plan on Sunday (21 November) at Sha Tin as he brushed aside six rivals to claim the HK$4.75 million G2 BOCHK Private Wealth Jockey Club Mile (1600m).
Francis Lui has laid down an ominous marker ahead of Golden Sixty’s imminent return on Sunday with a Happy Valley double crowned by Sunny Star’s spectacular victory in the Class 2 The Japan Racing Association Trophy (1650m) on Wednesday evening.
Francis Lui will unveil a healthy, strong and more mature Golden Sixty when the Hong Kong superstar resumes in the G2 BOCHK Private Wealth Jockey Club Mile (1600m) at Sha Tin on Sunday.
