The David Brideoake-trained Princess Jenni (NZ) (High Chaparral) looks likely to head to the Gr.1 Empire Rose Stakes (1600m) at Flemington on November 1 after finishing 12th behind Fierce Impact (Deep Impact) in the Gr.1 Toorak Handicap (1600m) at Caulfield on Saturday

Brideoake was far from disappointed with the effort and is upbeat around the timing of her next assignment.

“That gives us three weeks to the race, a lovely break to Flemington. It’s a pity it’s not at The Valley as she goes so well there,” Brideoake said.

Brideoake was referring to the High Chaparral mare’s outstanding record at The Valley where she is unbeaten in two runs, both at stakes level, including victory in the Gr.2 Stocks Stakes (1600m) earlier this month.
