Trainer Tony Gollan has announced unbeaten three-year-old Zoustyle will take no further part in the 2019 TAB Queensland Winter Racing Carnival. 

"Zoustyle has contracted a low-grade virus and after consultation with his owners, will now head to the paddock," Gollan racing said in a tweet.

"it is unfortunate his winter campaign has ended but with his long-term future in mind will be set for a spring campaign." 

The Zoustar gelding has a perfect picket fence record of six from six with stakes earnings of $304,200. A dashing leader Zoustyle under Brad Stewart was too smart for the field in the 3YO Plate over 1200m at Doomben on May 18th leaving Plague Stone 1 1/4L in his wake.

Zoustyle was nominated to run in Saturday's Listed Daybreak Lover Plate (1200m) at Eagle Farm and he was .

"It is nothing serious but it is just a low-grade virus which meant we could not prepare him properly for Saturday," Gollan said.

"With so many horses coming from all over the place there are plenty of virus-type illnesses around.

"He can have three weeks off and then we can get him back for a tilt at the spring carnivals."
