Leading sire Snitzel has the Australian record for individual two-year-old winners in a season in his sights after a double on Anzac Day.

Risen won at Gosford and General Mu at Bathurst to take his tally to 30, the number he had last season to equal Without Fear's long-standing record.

Snitzel, who stands at Arrowfield, will command a service fee of A$176,000 in the upcoming breeding season.

Two of his 30 juvenile winners have been in New Zealand including Summer Passage, who won the Gr. 1 Sistema Stakes and finished second to another son of Snitzel, Invader, in the ATC Sires' Produce Stakes.
