The recent Ranvet Stakes winner Our Ivanhowe has been retired.

Our Ivanhowe won two Group One races in Germany before adding another two to his record in Australia in last year's Doomben Cup and the Ranvet Stakes at Rosehill earlier this month.

He was found to be lame after his Ranvet win and scratched from Saturday's BMW after failing a fitness test.

The seven-year-old stallion won seven of his 24 starts for prize-money of more than A$1.8 million.
