Patience with the Iffraaj mare Iffitel has been rewarded.

The six-year-old made her hurdling debut at Te Rapa on Monday and a resounding victory in the hands of Stuart Higgins and she showed she has a bright future in her new role.

“She’s been jumping for the last two years, we’ve just taken our time, and it’s onwards and upwards now,” trainer Glynn Brick said.
