Progressive staying mare Fawn will make her next appearance at Te Rapa on Saturday.

The lightly-raced Savabeel four-year-old successfully stepped up to a middle distance for the first time on the course at her latest appearance to further her career record to three wins from six starts.

“She’ll run in a Rating 85 over 2100m,” trainer Roger James said. “Normally, I use the grading system as well as possible, but I’ll jump her up and see if we can get to a nice race as soon as possible.”
