Three jockeys were fortunate to walk away from a nasty incident at Tauranga today.

Troy Harris had the winning of the David Wright Memorial 2100m on Guess Who until half-way down the straight when he was dislodged after the horse faltered and went down.

Michael Roustoby and Raaj parted company in the ensuing melee, as did Aaron Kuru and Soldier Field. They all escaped uninjured but, tragically, the John Mason-owned and trained Guess Who had to be humanely euthanised.
