Thursday’s Woodville meeting is the latest to fall foul of the weather.

The Racing Integrity Unit inspected the course with club officials and identified pooling of water on an already sodden track. Areas of inconsistency were also evident with further showers predicted the decision was made to abandon the meeting.

New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing, together with the Central Programming Committee, will look to add and/or split races where necessary in the coming weeks.
