Lightly-tried stakes winner All Roads is on his way to Australia.

The progressive five-year-old has enjoyed a lucrative season from the Ruakaka stable of Donna Logan and Chris Gibbs, which has prompted connections to try their luck further afield.

“He’s going to go over to Chris Waller in mid-August,” Logan said. “He’s in work with Tony Cole and they think it’s worth having a tilt in Sydney.”

All Roads began his career with Cole before he shifted north last year to take advantage of the better tracks. That move quickly paid off with four wins and a second from five starts on his adopted home track.

The Road To Rock gelding subsequently finished runner-up in the Gr.2 Rich Hill Mile before he won the Gr.2 Japan-New Zealand International Trophy. His last appearance resulted in a close sixth in the Gr.2 Easter Stakes.

Meanwhile, Logan and Gibbs are expecting a bold showing from their sole representative at Matamata on Wednesday.

Devine Love was a debut fifth behind Bombard, who subsequently ran second in the Listed Castletown Stakes, at Ruakaka in May and she will be ridden by Trudy Thornton in the Matamata Hire 1200.

“She’s done very well since and she’ll love the track conditions,” Logan said. “I think she’ll be a very good place chance at least.”

Devine Love is raced by his Perth-based breeder Neven Botica, who owns the filly’s Brighthill Farm-based sire Dalghar.
