Phil Williamson left Addington Raceway with a near perfect result on Wednesday.
The Oamaru trainer went to the Christchurch track with two debutants and went home with a win and runner-up result.

Driver Brad Williamson gave the daughter of Majestic Son a quiet trip on the markers before joining the running line with a lap to go.
He drew her out to the extreme outside when turning for home where she was able to show a good turn of foot to nab Racey Krusa on the line to win by a nose.
“It was a nice drive. She displayed good manners and went well,” Phil Williamson said.
“Just doing things right is key for a start and if they have got the ability they will progress. From the family she is from it all adds to her value.”
The three-year-old filly is a full-sister to Majestic Man and Williamson said she is showing some of the ability of her Group One-winning sibling.
“She has got the same good gait that he had, but just lacks his big V8 motor at this stage,” he said.
Majestic Love will likely have a few more starts before heading for a freshen-up ahead of bigger targets later in the year.
“We will give her another couple of races and then she will have a break. She will then come back and we will see if she is up to running in races like the Oaks,” Williamson said.
Williamson was also pleased with the runner-up effort of his other debutant, Aroha Kenny in the Johnnie Walker Mobile Trot (1980m).
“She went really well, I was really pleased with that. She has always been a nice filly and I think she will develop into quite a nice horse,” Williamson said.
“She is quite a big girl and I think with time she will be a pretty progressive horse.
“She is no fuss around the stable and is a really nice filly all-round.”
Adding to the result was the fact Williamson’s wife Bev bred and races the daughter of Love You, who is from the famed Kenny family.
“You hope that she can keep the Kenny family flag flying. The Kenny breed has been strong over the last 15 years or so,” Williamson said.
