With extreme weather being experienced in the region, the Trentham track was inspected at 1pm on Friday by the RIB and Club representatives.

The track is waterlogged and with more rain and high winds forecast, the early decision to abandon Saturday’s race meeting has been made.

Where possible, NZTR will look to split races in the near future to provide opportunities for those horses that have missed out.
