With the first race meeting on the Riccarton Park Racecourse Polytrack to be held on Thursday May 5, the Canterbury Jockey Club has arranged an open day to have an up-close look at the new racing, trialling, and training surface.

The open day will take place from 3pm to 5pm on Wednesday April 27 and all are welcome, with a free sausage-sizzle BBQ and refreshments at the 1600m start on the Polytrack. 

This provides the opportunity to view the surface, find out how it was built and what and how it is maintained. Access is from the gates 100m inside the main Racecourse Road Gates.
For catering purposes, the Club has asked that those keen to attend register by Tuesday 26 April with alison@riccartonpark.co.nz
