Group Three-winning mare Francaletta has a date with New Zealand’s Champion sire Savabeel this spring, but will be set to add to her black-type tally before her retirement.

Bruce Perry, the bloodstock manager for owner Lib Petagna, said the Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman-trained six-year-old has pulled up well after her last-start unplaced effort in the Gr.1 Windsor Park Plate (1600m) on Saturday.

"She's at Blandford Stud for the week and our aim is to get her covered by Savabeel as soon as we can," Perry said.

The daughter of High Chaparral won the Gr.3 Rich Hill Stud Taranaki Breeders’ Stakes (1400m) last year and will attempt to defend her crown in that race at Hawera on October 14, before heading towards the Gr.2 NRM Auckland Thoroughbred Breeders' Stakes (1400m) at Pukekohe on November 24.
