Storming The Tower’s latest success at Te Rapa has delayed his return to jumping.

The nine-year-old won in Rating 85 company on Saturday to earn a crack at another feature handicap on the flat at Rotorua.

“He’ll go to the Taumarunui Gold Cup now,” trainer John Bell said. “He’s a lovely horse and in beautiful condition.”

Storming the Tower, who was runner-up in last year’s Gr.3 Rotorua Cup (2200m), has placed in all four of his hurdle outings.
