Multiple stakes winner Prom Queen has returned home from Queensland for a break.
Placed in two of her three Australian starts, the daughter of Super Easy is enjoying time out before she builds toward Riccarton, where she has already been successful five times.
“She’s spelling and hopefully she’ll get to the Stewards and we’ll look at the New Zealand Cup with Kaharau,” co-trainer Kenny Rae said.
Kaharau wasn’t at his best in Queensland and failed to place in three outings and is also back home, as is the Eamonn Green-owned Patsys Lass whose best result for Rae was a runner-up finish at the Gold Coast.
