Stablemates Blackmagicwoman and Spirited Away won’t be troubled by the testing conditions at Rotorua on Wednesday.

The former contests the Rydges Hotel Rotorua (1950m) while Spirited Away runs in the New Zealand Bloodstock Insurance Peal Series Race (1400m). Apprentice Eilish McCall will ride the pair, who were both in the money at their latest appearances.

“Blackmagicwoman has good heavy track form and Spirited Away hasn’t been out of the placings on wet ground,” trainer Shaune Ritchie said. “This is their time of the year to excel.”
