Progressive stayer Makdanife has joined the Sydney stable of champion ex-pat Kiwi trainer Chris Waller.

Patiently handled by Pukekohe trainer Nigel Tiley, Makdanife won three of his 17 starts in New Zealand, and was placed on a further three occasions.

“The owner has been really patient with him and he is a lightly raced rising six-year-old,” Tiley said.

“There are better opportunities for the horse to earn some prizemoney in Sydney.”

Tiley trained a double at Pukekohe on Wednesday, with impressive winners Switch In Time and Lupelani
