The ongoing success of horses purchased from Rich Hill Stud’s Karaka May Sale weanling drafts was again highlighted, with graduate Courte Zarinditaking the 2018 New Zealand Bloodstock Southern Filly of the Year title.

The daughter of Any Suggestion and Courte Noire (Pentire), Courte Zarindidominated the four race series winning the Listed NZB Airfreight Stakes, finishing third, beaten by two noses, in the Listed NZB Insurance Stakes, then scoring in the Listed NZB Warstep Stakes.

Courte Zarindi joins other illustrious performers such as Gr.1 VRC Myer Classic winner I Am A Star, and Gr.2 Hawke's Bay Guineas winner Sir Andrew, as graduates of Rich Hill’s weanling sale drafts.

Rich Hill Stud will offer another quality line-up of young horses at next week’s 2018 Karaka May Sale. There are several outstanding weanlings sired by resident stallions Jimmy Choux, Shocking, Proisir and Pentire, and by other stallions such as Burgundy, Helmet and Roc de Cambes.

Rich Hill Stud’s 12 weanlings and 4 yearlings will be available for inspection at the Karaka sale grounds from Saturday May 5.
