Well-related filly Rockabyebaby is closing in on a black type challenge.

The Rip Van Winkle filly has won three of her seven starts and her last two in a row to have connections looking at their options.

“She’s taken a bit of time to mature and she’s got a lot of potential,” said Donna Logan, who trains her with Chris Gibbs.

From the family of the three-time Group One winner Sea Siren, Rockabyebaby is raced by Tim Bodle’s Whakanui Stud.

“I’ll have a chat with Tim and we’ll come up with a plan,” Logan said. “He has been patient with her and it’s now being rewarded.”
