Kris Lees is considering a next-up stakes assignment for his in-form stable newcomer Sound Proposition.

The Newcastle trainer has produced the New Zealand-bred Group One winner for consecutive wins at Randwick since his transfer from the Matamata stable of Lance O’Sullivan and Andrew Scott.

“We might have a shot at the Cameron Handicap in September,” said Lees, referring to the Group Three event on his home track.
