Injury-plagued sprinter Pinzalot faces another lengthy break.

"He's bowed a tendon so he'll be having nine months off," trainer Mark Forbes said.

Pinzalot, who returned home after suffering a similar injury in his Hong Kong debut, posted three wins and two placings in six appearances for Forbes.

Meanwhile, the talented filly and Gr.3 Mongolian Khan Trophy placegetter Royal Fashion is back in the stable to chase further black type honours next preparation.

"She'll probably kick off at Ruakaka and then we may have a look at the Foxbridge Plate," Forbes said.

Her performances will determine whether she earns a crack at the Gr.1 Tarzino Trophy on the opening day of the Hawke's Bay carnival.
