Our Bandit has passed the toughest test of his fledgling career with honours.

Our Bandit - Race Images Palmerston North

The four-year-old made a successful open class debut on Saturday for his fifth win in nine starts and boosts his chances of making the field for the Gr.3 eStar Winter Cup at Riccarton on August 5.

"He's a lovely horse and just does anything I want him to," trainer Peter McKenzie said.

Our Bandit responded to every call from rider Lisa Allpress at Trentham to get home for his latest win at the expense of Lord Ernesto and the black type winner Duffers Creek.
