Accomplished jumper Thenamesbond hasn't turned a hair following his unplaced run in Monday's K.S. Browne Hurdle in trying conditions at Ellerslie.

"He hated the track and he was struggling a long way out," trainer Stephen Ralph said.

"He's pulled up well though and he's as bright as a button. We might think about the Hawke's Bay Hurdles for him, they could get a better track there."

Meanwhile, the stable is looking forward to a change of role for Hesalljazz, who was a recent jumping trial winner before a fourth on the flat at Ellerslie on Queen's Birthday Monday.

"We think that he could do some good things for us over hurdles," Ralph said.
