Following torrential rain throughout the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions the Rotorua meeting scheduled for Saturday 13 May has been abandoned.

The track was inspected by Club and Racing Integrity Unit officials and is inundated with surface water.

The Club and New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing are working through options to reschedule the meeting next week.

Meanwhile, the Waipa Racing Club's meeting was postponed on Friday because of track conditions and has been rescheduled on Monday.

Fields remain unchanged and all scratchings will be reinstated. New race times and full fields will be available at www.nzracing.co.nz
