Levin owner-trainer Sylvia Kay is within touching distance of her best season.

She produced the promising stayer Sylvester to claim the Feilding Business Houses Handicap at Awapuni on Anzac Day to equal her previous best tally of seven winners in a season.

Always content with a small team, Kay's best performer over the years has been her Gr.1 Doomben Cup winner Sapio, who also won two editions of the Gr.2 New Zealand Cup.
