Te Akau's Torcedor has lowered the colours in Ireland of Order Of St George in the Gr.3 Vintage Stakes.

Torcedor

Trained by Jessica Harrington and ridden by Colm O'Donoghue, the son of Fastnet Rock led all the way to beat the multiple Group One winner by a length and a half in Sunday's feature at Navan.

The five-year-old has now won four of his 13 starts for a syndicate that also includes Sir Patrick Hogan and Sir Peter Vela, who celebrated a Group Three success with Eminent in last week's Craven Stakes at Newmarket.

Torcedor is out of the Sadler's Wells mare Magnolia Lane, who is a sister to the two-time Vintage Stakes winner Yeats.
