Chocante's quality should make him a force to be reckoned with at Te Rapa.

Trainer Stephen Marsh believes the four-year-old has the class to be prominent when he resumes in Saturday's Team Wealleans 1400.

"He came back a lot stronger this time in. He was a young, immature stayer in the spring, but still did a good job," Marsh said.

Chocante, whose autumn aim is the Gr.2 Manco Easter Stakes, hasn't raced since he produced an outstanding performance off a wide run to win the Gr.3 Counties Cup in November.
