Waikato-based jockey Hamish McNeill has opened his account.

The 21-year-old was successful aboard Tobi in the highweight event at Pukekohe Park on Wednesday to give him his first race day success.

Tobi was also breaking his maiden in the 1600 metre event for Byerley Park trainer Graham Whitburn.
