Former Otaki trainer Rachael Frost is pleased to have talented galloper Travimyfriend as part of her team at Mornington.

Frost relocated across the Tasman in late June and has had just the two runners to date, including Sandown winner Redefine, but the multiple Group placegetter Travimyfriend will certainly add some class to her small team.

“Travimyfriend came over from New Zealand a bit later than some of the others,” Frost said.

“He'll probably run at Moonee Valley on Friday in the BenchMark 90 1200m, which is short of his best, but he's got to start somewhere.

“He's been good, he looks well. His coat hasn't moved completely, so this run will improve him and we'll find a better race for him after this.”

Frost said she was pleased with the move to Victoria, with the hands-on trainer keen to keep her team to a manageable number.

“I've got six horses in work as of today and they're nice horses. Some aren't city class but they're nice. Everything is turning out well.”
