The world's former top-ranked sprinter Lankan Rupee has ramped up preparations for his comeback with a jumpout at Caulfield this morning.

The five-time Group One winner, who hasn't raced since last spring, contested a 700-metre jumpout with his regular jockey Craig Newitt aboard.

Lankan Rupee is scheduled to have another jumpout next week, with the Bletchingly Stakes later this month slated for his race return.
