Godolphin jockey James Doyle will return to England after the All Aged Stakes meeting at Randwick.

He was recruited late last year to ride in Sydney when Godolphin's former retained Australian rider James McDonald was outed for 18 months for a betting offence.

Godolphin said Doyle would fly to England after Saturday's Group One meeting and be back in action at Newmarket on Tuesday. He will aboard key stable runners in England and Europe during the spring and summer.

The jockey has ridden 20 winners during his Australian stint, which was interrupted by five weeks on the sidelines because of injury.

"I have enjoyed riding in Sydney again. It was a great experience and I was fortunate to ride some very good horses for Godolphin," Doyle said on the Godolphin website.

"Now, I'm looking forward to getting back for the Craven Meeting at Newmarket.

"It seems there are quite a few Godolphin horses in the picture for the Guineas, and I am looking forward to stepping up to the plate."

Doyle may return to Australia later in the year.
