Darren Weir has resisted the temptation to run Humidor in the $A4 million Gr.1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes.

While Winx is considered a past the post proposition by the vast majority, second prize at Randwick on Saturday is worth $A780,000 but Weir hasn't been swayed to run his New Zealand-bred.

"He's done his job, he got the job done in the Australian Cup, and that was good enough for us," he said. "He's a good horse for the spring, so we're going to look after him."
