Victoria’s premier trainer Darren Weir will saddle up three runners in the field of 12 for the Australian Cup at Flemington including favourite Humidor.
Humidor has come up with barrier seven for Saturday’s 2000m weight-for-age feature while stablemates Stratum Star has gate two and Real Love will jump from the outside.
The Ciaron Maher-trained Caulfield Cup winner Jameka, to be ridden by Hugh Bowman, has drawn barrier 11 while Emirates Stakes winner Awesome Rock has barrier six.
Humidor heads the odds at $4.20 from Jameka at $4.40 and Stratum Star at $6.00.
